No information gathered or collected through this website will be
used or sold to any 3rd parties for any reason or purpose.
Reservation Information
Reservation Deposit
The full fare, including any fees and taxes, for any tour is the
posted price. Each reservation requires a portion of the fare be
paid as a confirmation deposit at the time of booking. This is usually
paid with a credit card. The individual tour operator will charge
the remainder of the fare. WE ACCEPT VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN
EXPRESS AND DISCOVER CARDS.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
For each reservation cancelled there is a $15 cancellation-processing
fee per person. Reservation cancellations made at least 48 hours
before tour departure will receive a refund except for the $15 fee.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure time will not receive
a refund.
Because most of our tours use small vehicles with limited seating
capacity, last minute reservation cancellations affect our ability
to make these tours viable. Therefore we have to have some refund
restrictions.
Children Participants
Each type of tour or activity has its own requirements about children
participants, as detailed in the individual tour descriptions. Children
18 and under must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible
for their behavior and safety.
Minimum Load Requirement
Some of our tours require a minimum passenger number in which to
operate, usually 2 or 3 total people. When you make a reservation
you will be informed if we project there to be a problem reaching
the minimum number.
No-shows
If registered clients fail to appear at the pick-up location within
10 minutes after their scheduled time, and have not notified Rocky
Trails at least 48 hour beforehand, guides must proceed without
them to meet other participants. No refunds will be issued.
Travel Information
Departure and Return
Each Rocky Trails journey begins and ends in Las Vegas. Most tours
offer free pick-up at your Las Vegas hotel door. Some tours pick-up
only at one or two hotels. Each hotel's pick-up location varies
so check with us about specific pick-up location.
Seat Belt Policy
All passengers are required by state law to wear seat belts when
the vehicle is in operation.
Smoking Policy
Considerate smoking is allowed outdoors in vehicle parking areas
unless high fire danger conditions are present. Smoking is never
permitted in vehicles, visitor centers, or on hiking trails. Smokers
should be very cautious of fire danger in dry desert or forest conditions.
Safety Notification
Rocky Trails' excursions are outdoor field activities, which may
involve both highway and backcountry vehicle travel, and air flights.
Some tours will involve moderately strenuous walking, which will
be on dirt or rocky trails with locally uneven, slippery, or precipitous
surfaces, and prickly plants. Adverse weather or climate conditions
may occur. Rocky Trails does not promise any particular weather
conditions. The guide or pilot will review all safety precautions
at the beginning of the trip.
Agreement
By making this registration each participant is stating that he/she
is in good health and has no medical or physical condition that
could interfere with ins/her safety or enjoyment of this activity
by him or herself (or by other participants). Rocky Trails is not
liable or responsible in the event of injury or death to participant.
Each person agrees to the policies stated above, agrees to heed
all safety precautions directed by the guide, and understands the
Safety Notification.
