What is Red Rock Canyon?

Red Rock Canyon, only 40 minutes from the Strip, is the dramatic western backdrop to the Las Vegas Valley. You can see the colorful cliffs from the Strip! Formerly a cattle ranch, this federally-protected National Conservation Area is the most scenic natural area near Las Vegas. Once over the hill you are in a different world.

Red Rock Canyon is not actually a “canyon” but a broad valley bounded by colorful 2,000 feet-high bluffs of red and white sandstone. Joshua trees, Mojave yuccas, and several varieties of cacti preserve the classic “Old West” feel.

Our riding trails have panoramic views of the Red Rock Canyon area along the entire length of each trail. You will ride with our wranglers on exclusive trails used under special permit from the government.
